FAQs
Questions about Staterooms
How many Guests can occupy one stateroom?
The largest concierge-suite can occupy up to 7 guests, most other staterooms can accommodate at least 3 guests. Some Family staterooms, on all four ships, can occupy 5 guests.
What are the different types of Verandahs?
There are three types of stateroom verandahs onboard the fleet.
The Standard Verandah features an open-air balcony with a clear acrylic wall, allowing guests to sit and enjoy the horizon views.
The Whitewall Verandah offers an open-air balcony with a solid white wall from the deck to the railing. Most of these staterooms are located in the aft portion of the ship. Guests will need to stand to enjoy the horizon views.
A Navigator's Verandah is an enclosed balcony, giving guests greater privacy and stunning views through a large open-air porthole.
What television and movie channels are available in my stateroom?
Guests can select from a variety of television, movie and information channels at no extra cost. Disney Movies and TV shows, popular TV networks and exclusive Cruise channels are just a few! A complete guide can be found in the stateroom. Listings vary by ship.
Do the ships have connecting staterooms?
Yes. Each ship has connecting staterooms but these are limited. Please request these when you are booking your cruise to ensure availability.
Do the rooms accommodate wheelchairs?
Accessible staterooms will accommodate guests that bring wheelchairs. Guests will need to bring their own wheelchairs or mobility scooters, these can be rented from outside companies. Wheelchair-accessible staterooms feature 32" doorways, emergency call buttons, open bed frames, ramped bathrooms thresholds, bathroom and shower grab bars, roll-in showers, fold down shower seats and hand-held shower heads.
What is a Magical Porthole?
The Magical port hole is available on the Disney Dream/Disney Fantasy. Only an inside stateroom will feature a Magical Porthole, providing Guests with a real-time view of the outside of the ship that reflects the actual stateroom's location—port or starboard.
High-definition cameras placed on the exterior of the ship feed live video to an LCD flat-screen monitor with a stylized nautical frame cleverly disguised as a porthole. From time to time, Disney animated Characters may make cameo appearances in the Magical Porthole. You never know who might pop by! You can turn the magical port hole off with a click of a switch.
